Modern Chinese Calligraphy

This is a journey of understanding Chinese culture and philosophy through Dao De Jing. The most sacred ancient text written in the 500 BC whose author the scholars has not been accurately identified. This text, though written more than 2500 years ago. Is still studied, translated, and interpreted by many who have a keen interest in Chinese philosophy. 

A modern interpretation of Chinese Calligraphy waiting to be explored by the reader of the most secret text of ancient Chinese civilization, the Dao De Jing. It is the most translated text, and it is still relevant till today. Printed on cream paper, consisting of eighty-one chapters, each written on a single sheet for easy coloring. 


Colouring for Seniors - Little India

This is a series of fountain pen drawings on Little India, drawn after a careful study of the place over a few months. It was more than a year ago that I decided to teach my son how to draw with a pen, fountain pen to be precise. It was after his 'O Level' and he had a few months before the result is release. 
He loves to draw since young. He would draw all over the table and chairs, his table and chairs. We do not allow him to draw on the wall and other places. However, every now and then we still would catch him doing just that. Usually, we insisted that he cleaned them up. His cleaning was bad. We could still marks and residual ink or pencil lead on the wall. Our domestic help did a better job. 
He was never good at getting good marks for his studies. When he said he was going to score, it was always some marks around 65%. We were not particularly worried about his result that we would force him to study every minute. However, we would still have to figure a way to allow him …
